Tuesday's Zelda-specific show delivered on its own promise, headlined by a real showcase of Ocarina of Time built for Switch 2, launching November 5. Wednesday's broader Direct followed through on the "arriving this winter" framing too, with first looks at two new games built around iconic Nintendo characters: Metroid Ravenous, a 2D action-adventure starring Samus Aran, and Kirby and the World Beyond, a fully 3D Kirby game, both exclusive to Switch 2. Monster Hunter's latest entry was confirmed for Switch 2 as well, arriving December 4 with full local play support, and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Definitive Edition was announced for a February 25, 2027 release.
